   WHY THIS FILE EXISTS RATHER THAN A LINK TO GOOGLE.
   The obvious way to get these fonts is one <link> to
   fonts.googleapis.com. That is exactly the thing this application
   already decided not to do, for the two reasons written in
   static/vendor/fetch-vendor.sh: an internal tool should not stop
   looking like itself when a third party has a bad day, and no outside
   host needs a log line every time somebody at Ridgebeam opens the
   dashboard. Fonts are the same call, so they get the same answer.

   WHAT IS ACTUALLY SERVED.
   Four files, latin subset only, fetched and checksum-verified by
   fetch-vendor.sh. Two of them are variable fonts, which is why four
   files cover seven weights:

     archivo-var-latin.woff2      Archivo, all weights (we use 700, 800)
     plex-sans-var-latin.woff2    IBM Plex Sans, all weights (400/500/600)
     plex-mono-400-latin.woff2    IBM Plex Mono 400
     plex-mono-500-latin.woff2    IBM Plex Mono 500

   Google's own stylesheet serves 34 faces across five alphabets. This
   dashboard is read by two people in English, so the other 30 are 700kB
   nobody downloads on purpose.

   IF THE FILES ARE MISSING. They are gitignored, so a fresh clone and
   every CI run has none of them. `font-display: swap` plus the fallback
   stacks in rb.css mean the page renders immediately in system fonts
   and simply looks plainer. That is the intended failure: a missing
   font must never be a blank page.
